Waiting - waiting - waiting!
Sunday, December 21st, 2008Today is day ninety since our log-in date. Right now, it seems the average wait for a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) is ninety days. I am getting antsy. Her clothes are in the closet. I’m feeling ready. I’m busy reading piles of information about attachement in adoption. Reading about all the things that can go wrong is not for the weak at heart, but necessary to be ready. And, although this sounds vain, I am not a warm weather person, so I’d like to go pick her up (in the tropics) while it is still winter! Most of all, I just want her HOME! Once we get her LOA, it will still be 6-8 weeks before we travel.
