Homestudy to CIS

We mail a copy of the homestudy to CIS (Citizenship & Immigration Services).  Another big step - we must have their approval before our dossier can be sent to China.

Homestudy arrives

Our home study arrives! 

We can now choose a child!  Remember - the list of five, rather than 70?  Well, of those five, only two met our criteria (girl, ages 4-12, certain special needs).  Of those two, only one seems to have much information about her.  Mentions her love of the outdoors and music.  We try to get info on the other, but can’t get much more than "cute smile".  We could care less about her smile.  Perhaps God is pointing His finger at this one and saying "choose her!"
